Luxury driving performance monitored
Transport company Flightlink Chauffeurs has deployed Kinesis telematics, in order to keep tabs on the performance of its fleet of luxury vehicles.
Speaking of the move, Flightlink MD Cecilia van Zyl said: “Unlike most operators in our sector we fully own our fleet and employ our drivers. That means we can manage service levels and attain the high standards required for quality accreditation.
“Kinesis is important, as it allows us to closely monitor everything, including arrival and departure times, as well as enabling us to audit hours and driving performance, and analyse mile-by-mile fuel consumption. We’ve already seen an improvement in driving scores, up from 70 to 80 per cent.”
According to the company, the tracking data is also integrated with fuel payment services provided by UK Fuels. The firm’s chauffeurs are also able purchase goods for their passengers on a credit card, which in turn automatically charges to the client’s account.
Flightlink Chauffeurs are based in Swindon and provide executive travel services along the M4 corridor.
