RadioTrade appoints two new directors

RadioTrade has appointed two new directors, Peter Bearryman and Diane Keevil, to enhance the support it provides to its partners and continue to drive growth in the channel.

RadioTrade states that it saw significant growth in 2018 and generated £18 million in turnover from its activities within the UK two-way radio market. The company has also won the Motorola Solutions’ Empower Award for fastest growing distributor, with excellence in customer service, within the EMEA region for the last three consecutive years.

Bearryman has thirty years’ experience within the radio industry, including key sales and account management roles for the commercial and government sectors at Motorola Solutions, before he joined RadioTrade as the company’s dealer account manager. In his new role, Bearryman will lead the development of RadioTrade’s sales and marketing team including the company’s account management and service offering.

Keevil, also an ex-Motorola Solutions employee, joined RadioTrade two years ago and from her time at Motorola has extensive experience in channel sales and knowledge of the two-way radio industry. She has been instrumental in recruiting and building RadioTrade’s team, initiating training programmes and streamlining procurement processes. She will be responsible for RadioTrade’s operational functions, including order management, procurement and logistics.

“I am very pleased to announce the appointment of both Diane and Peter as directors of the company,” said Richard Searle, RadioTrade’s managing director. “They have worked hard to grow and support the RadioTrade business and their skills have been a great asset in developing, and now leading, an effective management team. Going forward, we will be concentrating on new strategies to deliver growth for the channel, whilst maintaining the highest levels of support and delivery.”

Bearryman said: “I’m thrilled to be appointed to the leadership role for the RadioTrade sales and marketing team. We have an excellent group of people and we will be adding to their number in the coming months to further enhance our service to the channel as we continue our growth and development. As a team we will be using our considerable experience and expertise to continue to expand the benefits that we can deliver to our valued partners.”

“I am delighted to be appointed as a director of RadioTrade and that Richard has recognised the contribution I have made to the company since I joined,” said Keevil. “We have had such fantastic growth and now that we have a solid foundation in place – both from a people and systems perspective - we have a lot more that we want to achieve.”
