Change at the top for Transwide and Teleroute

Transport management specialists Transwide and Teleroute have appointed Alexander Sollmann as new director of product management.

He will take responsibility for the companies’ portfolio of transport management software and freight exchanges. According to a statement this will involve developing a ‘global road map,’ leveraging his knowledge of workflow software and SaaS applications.

Speaking of the new role, Sollmann said: “I am very interested in exploring new ways of combining all of Transwide and Teleroute products wherever it makes sense. Within this new group we have clear USPs over our competitors, but it is up to us to use them to become best in class.”

Fabrice Maquignon, CEO of Transwide and Teleroute said: “I am very pleased to welcome Alexander to our company. As we are gearing up for acceleration of our growth initiatives, his experience and his customer focus will be critical to help us create solutions that deliver great value for our clients.”

Sollmann has 24 years of experience in the transport and logistics industry, ten of which of were spent at transport logistics company Transporeon.
