According to Capita, the move is intended to increase the company’s telephony portfolio in the realm of emergency services contact management.
Speaking of the acquisition, Capita managing director Paul Eggleton said: “Emergency Service control rooms need to have the very best software solutions available to ensure that they can provide an effective and efficient emergency response to the general public.
“The incorporation of this acquisition into our existing control room business will enhance our overall offering and expand the reach of our products into new markets.”
Capita and Call Vision have previously collaborated, with the latter’s software already integrated into several of its new parent company’s products. Call Vision Technologies is based in Southampton.
