According to the company, Nikles will take over responsibility for its entire IoT business, including production and technology, starting this month.
Nikles said he will focus the division on “making it easier for companies to access and implement IoT solutions”. He has two decades of experience in the ICT industry, including more than ten years at Deutsche Telekom, alongside stints at Freudenberg IT and IBM Power Systems.
"We simplify IoT for our customers and thus accelerate the digital transformation of many companies," said Nikles. "With the Internet of Things, our customers optimise or automate their business processes. They establish new business models and thus create value for their company.”
Nikles takes over from Rami Avidan, who has left to form his own consultancy business. Avidan led the division for two years.
