iPTT's new PoC hand portable

iPTT has announced its its new PoC hand portable, the iPTT P500, following detailed discussions with its resellers and end users of its PTT over Cellular (PoC) solution to identify features and benefits that match the needs of its customer base.

The device has been designed with the needs of users from verticals such as construction, maintenance, security, hospitality, traffic management and events industries as well as local councils, in mind.

The P500 has a panic button, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as 4G LTE. Like iPTT's CP-300, the P500 is rugged, robust and reliable and provides nationwide PTT as well as international PTT communication.

GPS tracking, call logs, late entry, dynamic groups, remote stun, private calls and very low latency are standard in the iPTT PoC solution. The company claims that its solution provides cost savings and lower total cost of ownership when compared with DMR, satellite phones and HF radios for nationwide and international professional communication The P500 is fully compatible with iPTT's CP-300 and CM-300 PoC Radios. The P500 will have an RRP of £239 and will be available to purchase from 1 August.
