These are described as “A voice communication solution utilising UHF, and/or VHF radio frequency bands and associated equipment maintenance and support services.”
Like its predecessor (the now expired RM1045), the new Network Services framework will be used by the UK public sector, associated bodies and agencies, the voluntary sector, charities and private organisations acting as managing agents.
The core services portfolio that Radiocoms submitted as part of the vendor assessment include many major two-way radio manufacturers (Motorola Solutions, Hytera, Tait, Entel) with software applications for system enhancement. Radiocoms is also able to provide project design and management, system build & support and maintenance. It also supplies remote speaker microphone (RSM) body-worn cameras, antenna systesm, distributed antenna systems (DAS), microwave, point to point and point to multi-point links.
Mark Blythe, Radiocoms’ sales director said: “With an already well-recognised presence within the public sector for supporting radio communications equipment and solutions, this is a significant milestone for Radiocoms as it continues to be an established partner. By aligning with the objectives of RM3808 we are looking forward to supporting public sector organisations with digital transformation and offering cost savings by providing a completely modular service.”
