Red Hat appoints VP of Telecommunications for EMEA region
Red Hat, a provider of open source solutions, has named Massimo Fatato as vice president of its Telecommunications business in the EMEA region – effective immediately.
Fatato will use his more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications sector to lead strategic development and program execution to support Red Hat's expansion in the EMEA market. His role involves overseeing the execution of this strategy across sales and marketing, with expansion and consolidation across its the partner ecosystem. Red Hat aims to use Fatato’s experience gained in roles such as general manager for HP in its worldwide Operations Support System (OSS) portfolio to support the requirements of its growing telecoms customer base. Fatato has also held positions in Cisco and at Accenture as sales director.
