According to the company, his task will be to oversee its range of solutions for transport organisations, an area in which the company is rapidly-growing. His previous role involved operating in a senior business development capacity at transport management system provider Dynniq.
Speaking of the appointment, Simoco chief sales officer Andy Woodhall said: “Graeme’s industry expertise is outstanding, and he really understands the nuanced challenges faced by road and rail operatives. We’re confident that he will bring a wealth of quality experience into our organisation, and are very much looking forward to working with him.”
Simoco’s current clients in the transport sector include Transport for London, for which it provides and maintains the organisation’s comms infrastructure. It also operates communication networks across 18 UK airports, including Heathrow.
