LPRS releases a “one-stop-shop” to make IoT easy for system integrators

LPRS CS has put together a complete IoT package for use to help them deploy the technology and generate additional revenue

LPRS Connected Solutions (LPRS CS) has identified systems and integrators and service providers as having the greatest ability to deploy and generate revenue from IoT/M2M applications, given their deep knowledge of end-users and their requirements.

However, the sheer number of products and services on the market, can make the complexity of assembling a complete system a daunting prospect. For this reason, it now offers a complete IoT package, which can be white-labelled and provides wireless sensor hardware, connectivity and a web-based back office. The company claims that because its solution is cloud-based, it is “infinitely scalable and quick to deploy with no long periods between proof of concept and final roll out.”

It adds that this will give “systems integrators and service providers a great opportunity to move into using IoT technology without having to have the in-house knowledge of electronics, wireless, cloud computing and more.”

Typical applications include medical refrigeration monitoring, room temperature monitoring, museum and leisure temperature monitoring, facilities management (monitoring for Legionella and other potential hazards) and in home telehealth.

LPRS designs and manufactures the eRIC and easyRadio Advanced (eRA) interchangeable ISM / LPWAN wireless radio modules in the UK. Its product range now includes LPWAN technologies such as Sigfox and LoRa.

“… [We] decided to provide a flexible end-to-end solution which can be rolled out quickly and without having to find individual partners for sensors, secure cloud services and control and monitoring software,“ said Nick Pummel, managing director of LPRS CS. “This is the same process which led us nearly twenty years ago to create our easyRadio range of out-of-the-box wireless transceivers which still lead the market with easy to use wireless connectivity.

“We believe that IoT should be easy and joined-up and our consultative approach allows customers to prove system concept, refine system elements and deploy without a long design cycle or large initial investment for design and development of hardware and back office systems.”
