He will take responsibility for the companies’ portfolio of transport management software and freight exchanges. According to a statement this will involve developing a ‘global road map,’ leveraging his knowledge of workflow software and SaaS applications.
Speaking of the new role, Sollmann said: “I am very interested in exploring new ways of combining all of Transwide and Teleroute products wherever it makes sense. Within this new group we have clear USPs over our competitors, but it is up to us to use them to become best in class.”

Sollmann has 24 years of experience in the transport and logistics industry, ten of which of were spent at transport logistics company Transporeon.
