The first is a “compact remote speaker microphone” – otherwise known as 'mRSM' –, compatible with the company's SC2 and STP Series TETRA terminals. This is described by Sepura as being: “Small, robust and lightweight, and specifically designed for users operating in a wide range of environments, including public safety, commercial and industrial operations.”
The company’s new body worn camera remote video microphone (sRVM) meanwhile can likewise be connected to the SC2 series, as well as wirelessly via Bluetooth, or used on its own.

Speaking of the new devices, John Drewnicki, head of products – accessories at Sepura said: “The mRSM offers superior audio quality and robustness in a lightweight form factor. For users seeking a compact RSM with all the audio capability of a larger device, the mRSM answers their needs.
“The sRVM combines the benefits of a body-worn video device with those of an RSM. This saves space, ensuring that the product is in the optimum handling position and is not compromised by additional audio devices.”
