According to the company, the Partner Interconnect product provides a direct link to the nearest Google edge point of presence, with subrate interface speeds ranging from 50Mbps to 10Gbps. It follows on from Google's Dedicated Interconnect platform, which was launched last September and aims to provide "higher-speed and lower cost connectivity than VPN."
